Other Scholarship Resources:

In addition to SEIU scholarships, there are other online resources to help you in your scholarship search.   Here are four helpful links:

1. Fastweb: a  site that narrows scholarship choices by school, major, and other criteria.

2. Collegeboard: a search for scholarships but also step-by-step tutorials for financial aid requests and college searches.

3. Sallie Mae: a database of 3 million scholarships.

4. Union Plus: SEIU participates in the Union Plus scholarship program; applications are due January 30, 2010.

Keep in mind that if any service asks you to pay for exclusive access to scholarships, it is likely a scam.  Also, while online databases are effective scholarship searches, make sure to check for any available local scholarships at your school district offices as well.
