Making Self-Isolation More Feasible

Some of our neighbors will need help self-isolating, or face higher risks in doing so. After limiting our own immediate potential to spread the virus, those of us who are healthy and able should help others do the same.

  • Try not to panic-buy, and definitely don’t hoard. Buying more than you need leaves less available for your neighbors.
  • If you are young and healthy, run errands for people who are elderly or immunocompromised. The virus is particularly dangerous for them.
  • Donate or volunteer with your local food bank or Meals on Wheels to support those who cannot access food at the grocery store.
