How does the Endorsement Process Work?

A Quick Reference for Candidates and Members

SEIU Local 200United prides itself on member involvement in the political process, and the endorsement process is no exception.  All members are invited to the candidate endorsement meetings (see dates and locations listed above), after which they decide which candidates to endorse for any given race.

The members who are present at the meeting get a voice in the process, so please come and speak up! It's important to have as many members at these meetings as possible so we can make sure candidates are aware of the many facilities we proudly represent, and so members can make sure their facilities are represented.

The endorsement list is released after the candidate endorsement meetings are completed, and are then posted on our website, facebook page, and are printed in our quarterly newsletter.
