Emergency Medical Services

Help In Times of Greatest Need

Whether you are a Paramedic, an EMT, or Support Staff, the Emergency Medical Services teams we represent at SEIU Local 200United are the first line of defense for their community when there is an emergency.  When families are most in need, when something unexpected threatens the lives of our loved ones, the Emergency Medical Services are there to provide top-quality care to the injured or sick.

The EMS professionals that we represent have the expertise, experience, and efficiency that saves lives everyday. Our union was formed to give all members a voice in pay, benefits, and conditions in the workplace.

At the right, there is a list of all the EMS facilities we are privileged to represent. Each link will bring you to a worksite specific page that lists stewards, union representative, and recent news.

National EMS Week, May 16-22

May 16-22 is EMS Week!
SEIU Local 200United is proud to represent the hardworking men and women of EMS at Rural Metro in Rochester and Corning, Guilfoyle Ambulance, and WCA Services. We want to extend our THANKS for the hard work they do each day to help in emergencies.

Here's a short tribute video to EMS workers from EMSI:

Not only are EMS workers saving lives everyday, but they are important members of the community! June 6, EMS members at Rural Metro Rochester are shaving their heads for charity! This is the eighth year they have raised money for terminally ill children through the "Buzz" program (flyer here). Great work, Rural Metro Rochester!

THANK YOU to all the EMS workers throughout NYS, including those who are members of SEIU Local 200United, for the hard work you do everyday to save lives!
