Keeping Communities Running Smoothly
The members of SEIU Local 200United who work in Towns, Cities, or Villages make sure that the roads are plowed or salted, that debris is cleared from the roadways, that the grass is mowed by the highways, and that facilities owned by the municipalities (court houses, DPW buildings) are kept safe and clean.
Our union was formed so that our members have a voice in their pay, benefits, and working conditions; we make sure their voice is heard and their importance in the community is realized. We work together with local governments to promote the importance of the municipality employees; we also are very familiar with government structures to help influence important policies regarding municipality employees.
