SEIU 200United staff are employees of the union whose role is to help union members build power and fight for justice.

Union Representatives work with member leaders to build worker power within workplaces.  This includes training, educating, and generally working with union chairs and stewards to negotiate contracts, hold labor-management meetings, run membership meetings, and file grievances.

Union Organizers help workers in non-union workplaces join our union for the first time.  It’s important to grow our union because the more of us there are within any geography or industry, the stronger will we be, and better able to fight for the standards we deserve.

Other departments like Member Strength, Political, Operations, Research and Communications, work across the union to support Representatives, Organizers, and members in different capacities, always with the goal of raising standards for working families.
